About Gooburrum Grove
Our Story
A family owed lime farm, in the heart of the Bundaberg Region
Welcome to Gooburrum Grove! We are Rachael and Will Coffison, and together with our family, we inherited 500 Tahitian lime trees with the purchase of a small farming property. We quickly learned how to care for the trees and what was required to sustain fruit year round and grow produce that exceeded standard lime size and flavour. Our focus is not on one farming method. Instead, we incorporate the use of the conventional farming, permaculture and biodynamics to craft our high quality goods, made just for you, with love.
So how did we end up here? Well, as previous cafe owners, including running a successful soil testing company, we knew that there was more to life than the daily and monotonous long days that go with owning several businesses. Therefore, while abundant, our previous lifestyle became more of a daily chore than a daily joy. So we sold up and opted for a slower pace of life here in Bundaberg in 2021. And we are so happy that we did!
Birthed from what we saw as vast amounts of waste due to unused limes, we then turned trash into treasure and made our famous citrus wheels. We also want to celebrate what’s around us as we have a lot of food opportunities from local producers, and they deserve to be celebrated. So, we hope to bring you the region’s finest, mixed with our own slice of joy here at Gooburrum Grove.
“Every day is a lesson, and we are working through the journey as we go!”

About Our Products
Handpicked and Handcrafted by us, for you
Our products are as pure as possible. They contain no preservatives, and some are made to order to retain their freshness and quality. At Gooburrum Grove, we are firm believers in keeping things simple, clean and pure, and that is what we put into all our products. Check them out for yourself and notice the flavour difference compared to off-the-shelf buys.
Our Citrus
We handpick our limes from our farm, sourcing lemons and oranges locally. Then we slice them and dry them just enough so they can still be eaten and used to give food and drinks that wow reaction.
Our Honey
On our small farm, we have 35 bee hives that we harvest for honey and honeycomb. Soon we will expand to 100 hives. We package our honey 100% raw, with no heat treating and no micro filter, which removes the pollen.
Our Small Batch
Our small batch items are expanding soon. But for now, we have our popular jar of made-to-order granola and our lime curd made only in small batches to maintain their well-known freshness and zing.
Our Gift Hampers
Did somebody ask for a hamper? At Gooburrum Grove we have you sorted. From a Drink Hamper, to Breakfast, Coffee, Food Artisan Hampers, and more. We have something for everyone.
